I think Leo DiCaprio was amazing, and it was Titanic that got
me hooked on him.
I read somewhere that the girls may go the first time to see Leo,
but what hooks everyone is the reality of Rose. The way Kate Winslet
plays this trapped young woman is amazing.

Also i think the producers and all did an excellent job in reinventing the facts. You got the feeling of being there and how the real Titanic passagers may have felt. It's the best movie this year.

Comments: Titanic was a magical movie. The emotion that both lead characters brought to the screen made this movie the success that it is. The contrast in character between DiCaprio and Zane kept the plot interesting and highly unpredictable, and the more exciting it got, the more you began to appreciate the innocent, undying love that developed between DiCaprio and Winslet. This movie was a masterpiece, and it deserves all the positive attention that it recieves.

had started on the 19th of December which coincidently was my
birthday. On this day I wanted to see Titanic and I was not dissapointed.
There are so many factors that contribute to the greatness of
this film. The acting I thought was superb and acting is what
makes a film. What I found was very powerful about the film was
that there was a love story. With it being a love story it also
isn't. What I find is the greatest thing about it is that you
know about the Titanic but this story changes all of this and
leaves you on the edge of your seat.
I find that Kate Winslet and Leonard DeCaprio are very smart.
They decided to keep a portion of what the film makes as their
salary. Myself seing it twice leads them to make a large sum of
money.

If your a real science fiction buff you should see this movie!!
However, I was left wanting a more definitive vision of what or
where the "other side" was. This movie has excellent
special effects with a better than average story line. The acting
was good. The writing was a little suspect.

Comments: Titanic was absolutely wonderfull! I originally went in there expecting the regular action movie: great special effects, a little blood and gore, and slightly over two hours. Well, I did get that, but I think slightly over three hours is the best way to put it! However, almost everyone in the audience walked in and walked out upset that the movie was so short.....until they looked at their watches. The movie's romance is an absolutly enthralling one, and it puts other movies of the year on the spot. It's also been nominated for 14 Academy awards, including best motion picture! It deserves it, because there is no other compition as far as I am concerned. Every so decade or so there is a movie bound to be a milestone for other movies, a legend, a classic. I think that there are only 4 movies in which were made in the 90's and can be called milestones of movies: Jurrassic Park, Schindler's List, Forrest Gump, and Titanic. If you have not seen it, then you better! DO NOT MISS IT!

Comments: I thought the there was a huge disconnect from the beginning of the movie. It didn't run very smoothly. I did think that the way it was filmed (imagery) was outstanding. I saw it with a guy that I have known since 7th grade that I basically treated just the same way that Estella treated Finn. It was touching for both of us to watch since we just now started "dating" in our adult years. I didn't recall much from the novel so the storyline was new to me. It was a good movie because my company was good - otherwise, I would probably not see it again.
